Quarters
Identity and interior for a shop you could walk into, designed as one piece.

Quarters was a retail project where the identity had to work in the real world, on a shopfront, on shelving, in the hand. Designing for a physical store is a different discipline from screens. Sightlines matter. So does what a mark looks like from across the street, and how an interior carries a brand without shouting it.
The work covered the identity and the space together, which is the right way round. A store interior designed apart from its brand always shows the join, and a brand drawn without thinking about the room it'll live in ends up as a sticker on someone else's walls. Here we got to do both at once.
The photographs of the finished interior are some of my favourite records of any project. Full write-up, with those photos, to follow.
